Surfing in Lindsay, California?

Images of Rick Kane learning to surf in a wave pool in Arizona come to mind when seeing photos from the new sports complex in Lindsay, California. Where, you might ask yourself, is Lindsay? Start in San Luis Obispo and drive about 140 miles inland and you will come across Lindsay with its new sports complex hosting a FlowRider where you can get your inland surf on. The McDermont Field House also houses basketball courts, soccer fields, a laser tag arena, a climbing wall, and much more. Read more about what Lindsay is up to in the LA Times article.--Rebecca Heller
